Monstro X Member Migration Guide
Moving from one member management platform to another is often one of the most challenging parts of switching software.
While exporting a basic member list is usually straightforward, every system stores data differently. Memberships, billing schedules, attendance history, waivers, payment methods, family accounts, and financial records are all structured in different ways depending on the platform.
In particular, payment and financial data is the most complex part of any migration. Payment processors require secure authorization steps, and in many cases, historical billing data or stored payment methods cannot simply be transferred directly. Some providers also charge fees for exporting or transferring financial records.
The Monstro X Difference

Your Migration Timeline
Here’s what the migration process looks like with Monstro X:
Day 1 — Export & Data Preparation
You export your member data from your current system (PushPress, Gymdesk, Mindbody, Wodify, or similar) and send it to our onboarding team. We review, clean, and prepare your data for migration.
Day 2 — Migration Begins
We migrate your member data into Monstro X.
Members will receive an invite to download the Monstro X app and begin onboarding.
If needed, members will also be prompted to securely migrate or reconnect their payment information.
Day 3 — Live & Running
Your system is fully active on Monstro X.
Your staff is operating in the new system, members are checking in, and you can begin focusing on growth and referrals instead of admin work.
Day 15 — Full Completion
By this stage, the majority of your members are fully migrated, onboarded, and actively using Monstro X.
Any remaining edge cases or special accounts are finalized by our onboarding team.
Step 1: Export Your Members
From your current software (PushPress, Gymdesk, Mindbody, Wodify, or similar), export your member list as a CSV or Excel file.
Common export locations:
- Members → Export
- Contacts → Export CSV
- Client List → Download Spreadsheet
Step 2: Required Fields
Please ensure your file includes the following columns:

Notes on Last Renewal Date
This field helps us understand membership continuity and properly align billing cycles inside Monstro X.
If a member has never renewed, please use their original join date instead.
Step 3: Save and Send
Please save your file as:
- CSV (.csv) — Preferred
- Excel (.xlsx) — Accepted
Send the completed file to your Monstro X onboarding representative.
